Hi, I’m Josh Goodman! A few months ago, I laced up my running shoes with one goal in mind—to finish the Jerusalem Marathon. My journey began at the Dead Sea Marathon, running in the lowest place on earth, and now I’m taking on the challenge of running in Jerusalem—the city that lifts us higher in every way. I’m running this race for two very special reasons: Honoring Hayley Snoyman Hayley is a true warrior. She has faced immense health challenges with unwavering strength and determination. She is also a soul sister to my mom—both of them will soon celebrate their 60th birthdays, just a day apart. This run is my tribute to Hayley’s resilience and the incredible bond she shares with my mother. Fulfilling a Dream A few years ago, my family and I made Aliyah, embracing a new life in the land we love. Running through Israel and now the streets of Jerusalem, a city filled with history, meaning, and personal significance, is more than just a race—it’s a dream and privilege come true. This marathon is about more than just crossing the finish line. It’s about pushing limits, giving back, and running with purpose. Your support, whether big or small, means the world to me.
