At DL Link, it’s more than just a race- it’s a chance to achieve something great! Through commitment and endurance, our participants train to get the the finish line with the name of a Warrior in their hearts and on their shirts. These events bring inspiration to DL Link families as well as raise much needed funds to continue providing valuable lifestyle support.

This year marks my third marathon, and it's a truly special one. My running journey began just two years ago, when I ran my first 10 km – something I never thought I could do. In 2024, I took on a 21 km challenge, and now I’m aiming for the full 42 km marathon. But this marathon isn’t just about me. It’s about two incredible women and dear friends, who have faced cancer with unmatched courage and tenacity. They’ve shown me the true meaning of strength, and it’s for them that I’m pushing myself to go further than ever before. Every step I take, every hill I climb, is a tribute to them and their unwavering spirit in the face of illness. In their honour, I run and with the goal of raising R120 000 for DL Link, an incredible organization that supports people with cancer. DL Link provides a lifeline to those in need, offering resources, care, and solidarity to individuals and families navigating the challenges of cancer treatment.
