At DL Link, it’s more than just a race- it’s a chance to achieve something great! Through commitment and endurance, our participants train to get the the finish line with the name of a Warrior in their hearts and on their shirts. These events bring inspiration to DL Link families as well as raise much needed funds to continue providing valuable lifestyle support.

I think it would be safe to say that the day a parent/family hears that their child has cancer is the most unnatural day of their lives. From that day forward, nothing is ever the same. Most of us can't even bear to face the thought, and TG, the majority of us will never have to. But those little people who do have to face this diagnosis are truly the bravest of the brave, the ones at the heart of the battle, the young ones who undergo treatment after treatment, fighting to survive. The fear, uncertainty, hospital visits, and cycle of treatments all have a lasting and profound effect on these young warriors. For the parents, siblings, and extended family, a completely different journey begins. One that is also steeped in fear of the unknown and uncertainty. Partner with me and the DL Link as I endeavor to run in the Jarusalem marathon in honor of two cancer heroes and their families. My beautiful nephew, Yedidya, who inspires me to keep going and brings more love and joy into my life than I thought possible, and his brave and courageous cousin, Sara Tehilla.
