At DL Link, it’s more than just a race- it’s a chance to achieve something great! Through commitment and endurance, our participants train to get the the finish line with the name of a Warrior in their hearts and on their shirts. These events bring inspiration to DL Link families as well as raise much needed funds to continue providing valuable lifestyle support.

At 11, Hannah was diagnosed; at 12 she reached remission and a few weeks ago we celebrated her 17th birthday in perfect health. To say we are grateful is only the beginning; our Gratitude requires us to be thankful for these blessings; to be good stewards of what God has provided and to help those who have not been so blessed. Gratitude is our “moral barometer”, our acknowledgment that we have been the beneficiaries of other people’s moral actions, care and love. When we found ourselves in a place of terrifying mystery, the DL LINK helped us to find the courage to believe in what we could not see and the strength to let go of our fear of uncertainty. To give our appreciation tangible worth and meaning, we have chosen to partner with the DL LINK. By joining their JERUSALEM MARATHON TEAM we will reach out to raise funds for their immaculate, precious and selfless endeavours to ease the burden of those warriors and families striving to live with and overcome cancer. We are recognizing and celebrating that we are all inextricably connected to each other by a power greater than all of us and that our connection to that power and to one another is grounded in love and compassion. Thankfulness brings a sense of perspective, meaning and purpose to our lives. Giving back to the community is a way to show gratitude meaningfully and it helps to keep us humble and thankful for the miracles we have received. Each of us has an opportunity to contribute in a meaningful way to connect to our community and make it a better place.
